King Charles has sparked health concerns after appearing in a video tribute to Queen Elizabeth II to mark her 100th birthday.
Samrat, who has been undergoing cancer treatment for more than two years, gave a pre-recorded message.
In his message, Charles paid tribute to his late mother and reaffirmed his commitment to duty.
“My family and I pause to reflect on the life and loss of a sovereign who meant so much to us all and celebrate anew the many blessings of her memory,” he said in the video.
The 77-year-old reaffirmed his “solemn pledge of duty and service to all of you”, adding that he would “continue to work together towards a better, happier tomorrow rooted in peace, justice, prosperity and security.”
He concluded, “God bless you, dear mama. You will always be in our hearts and prayers.”
Although royal fans noted that he looked visibly tired during the address, some social media users described him as shaky and tired, according to Radar Online.
One wrote, “Charles looks terrible. Sorry. He does,” while another said, “He looks shaky, and he had trouble reading the script.”
“This is a very sweet message. Unfortunately, IMHO the King is not good looking,” a third wrote on Reddit.
Another comment said, “He’s much older, which makes sense. It’s unclear how drastic his treatments are or how bad the cancer is at this point, but it may be taking its toll.”
