Serious concerns have arisen over Zayn Malik’s health after he was forced to retreat from public appearances.
Due to an undisclosed health issue, Malik canceled a scheduled appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, leading to comparisons to the late Liam Payne.
Although details regarding his situation are unclear, insiders have described it as a “challenging” period for him.
A source told radar online, “He is definitely facing some challenging health struggles right now. It has been a difficult period for him, but he is focused on his recovery. He is not giving up and is committed to getting better, even though it will take some time.”
Additionally, the former One Direction singer is said to be planning to consult with “the world’s best cardiologist” following his hospitalization.
It is pertinent to mention that Liam Payne’s sudden death left Zayn Malik and others in shock, with the Pillow Talk singer taking a break from his tour to compensate for the loss.
Although he later returned to the stage and paid tribute to his late bandmate, Malik’s latest health has drawn parallels with Payne’s eventual demise.
“People are naturally concerned after what happened to Liam,” the source told the outlet.
