Mel B reflects on how her time was Spice Girls This had a lasting impact on his life.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, the singer shared that she “loved every single moment” of being a part of the iconic group.
Emphasizing that it never felt like a burden, she told the outlet, “There’s not a day that goes by that it feels like a drag or a chore.”
She said, “Even though there were things that we came up against – whether it was sexism or anything else – we kind of overcame it as a group that supported each other.”
Apart from her music career, Mel B has also opened up about her approach to speaking out on personal and social issues.
Noting the importance of using her voice to address topics such as identity, self-acceptance and abuse awareness, she explained, “I just speak my mind and how I feel.”
“You know, whether it’s about mixed-race women or Black women embracing their hair textures… about speaking out against abuse and knowing how to get out of that relationship and how to do it safely.”
She commented in conclusion, “Just be the best you can be without beating yourself up so much about embracing who you are, curves, warts and all the rest.”
