Sunrisers Hyderabad’s most explosive opener Abhishek Sharma has been dropped twice by Rajasthan Royals fielders inside the powerplay and the game could slip away from them.
Under the captaincy of Ishan Kishan, Sunrisers Hyderabad did not have a good start in this season of IPL, but later they made a comeback against the same opponent, from where they were successful in achieving consecutive wins and entered the top 4 of the points table.
In contrast, Rajasthan Royals had a great start to the season and won their first four games; However, after that they continued to suffer defeats. This game holds special importance as Sunrisers can go above RR if they beat RR for the second time this season.
Ravindra Jadeja missed the catch of Abhishek Sharma on the ball of Tushar Deshpande.
Abhishek Sharma looked completely in rhythm in this match being played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. He scored a brilliant century in the last game and played a key role in chasing the big target for Sunrisers.
However, Abhishek struggled initially as he attempted to deliver some balls to the fielders, who missed them on two occasions. First, Shimron Hetmyer missed an easy catch near the fence and complained that he missed the ball in the lights.
Secondly, Ravindra Jadeja, probably one of the safest hands in world cricket, dropped a brilliant sitter off Tushar Deshpande due to mis-timing by Abhishek. The ball went quickly towards point and Jadeja dropped it in a big tumble.
