Punjab Kings (PBKS) made a big mistake in the first innings against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. In the early stages of the first innings, PBKS fielder Shashank Singh, once considered a safe fielder, dropped a regulation catch of DC opener KL Rahul.
KL Rahul’s drop catch is an important moment of the match. After the drop chance, the DC batsman started playing fast innings. Till the strategic time-out he was on 43* off 19 balls. Meanwhile, in the fifth over of the match, Shashank Singh made another mistake. at 4th 5 ballth Over, he dives to stop a four.

He failed to stop the ball from touching the rope and suffered an injury. It is not yet known whether he is seriously injured, but the PBKS star was seen sitting on a seat in their dug-out on the sidelines. When PBKS head coach Ricky Ponting approached Singh, the cricketer started rubbing his hamstring area.
Some fans are jokingly saying that Shashank Singh is pretending to be seriously injured to avoid the anger of the head coach who was angry over dropping the catch.
