The television network announced on Sunday, April 26, that action had been taken against a production member at the reunion, which aired on May 26 at 7:00 PM ET on Bravo.
On Thursday, April 17, Bravo launched an investigation after a clip featuring Amanda Batula, Ciara Miller, and Westling Wilson began circulating on social media.
They released a statement that read, “An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and was distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion.”
“As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken. There is no evidence that any cast member was involved in the recording of the audio.”
Bravo concluded, “We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content. We are aware that inappropriately sourced audio is being disseminated excessively and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, or amplifying any unauthorized audio.”
It is worth mentioning that Andy Cohen, who is hosting summer house The reunion special also spoke out against the leak.
He said, “People gave their souls emotionally for ten hours yesterday and for anyone to leak or distribute this is disgusting and illegal.”
Cohen quipped, “It’s disrespectful to the work and tears down what the cast did yesterday. Let the season play out. You’ll see all this in due time.”
