Cynthia Erivo has a moment of celebration after completing the London Marathon, which was billed as the biggest marathon ever run in the city.
The Wicked actress performed brilliantly on the streets of London, reaching the finish line in 3 hours, 21 minutes and 40 seconds.
With an average of 4:46 per km, the actress ran a long run of 42 km, leaving her fans in awe.
In addition to her impressive stamina, Erivo gave her fans goosebumps as Wicked’s iconic track Defying Gravity played in the background.
Cynthia Erivo and Guy Pearce have been cast in the musical drama The Road Home.
Bill Condon serves as director and described the film as “a powerful story combining art with activism, a friction that has grown more complex over time.”
The film’s logline reads, “Masekela (Ramesti), following his exile from South Africa, is led by anti-apartheid lawyer Archbishop Trevor Huddleston (Pearce) in a campaign against Masekela’s friend Paul Simon over his Graceland album.”
