Following awards season buzz, Kate Hudson shares some insight into how she took a break.

“I took spring break with my kids and I turned everything off,” Kate, who is mom to three children, Bingham, 14, Ryder, 22, and Rani Rose, 7, told People at the premiere of Netflix’s Running Point season 2.

Kate said, “I was so lucky to be able to have that experience. And I loved everyone who went on that trip with them. Everyone on that trip was so amazing, so fun, and together, and I loved everything about it.”
In the film Song Sung Blue, a biopic on the Neil Diamond tribute band lightning and thunder, Kate played the role of Claire “Thunder” Sardina opposite Hugh Jackman, who played Mike “Lightning” Sardinia.
