CPP payments are scheduled to arrive this week, along with Old Age Security deposits for eligible Canadians, according to the government schedule.
Canada Pension Plan and OAS payments will be deposited on April 28 for those who qualify.
CPP payments provide monthly income support in retirement and are available to individuals age 60 and older who have made contributions.
Under the updated 2026 rates, the maximum monthly CPP payment at age 65 increases to $1,507.65. Based on recent data, new beneficiaries age 65 receive an average monthly amount of $803.76.
OAS benefits are available to Canadians aged 65 and over, regardless of work history, provided residency requirements are met.
The maximum monthly OAS payment for those aged 65 to 74 is $742.31, while those aged 75 and older can receive up to $816.54, depending on income limits.
Both CPP and OAS payments were adjusted earlier this year to reflect updated benefit levels.
Additional benefit payments are scheduled for May as part of the regular government support system.
