Noah Wyle has settled the debate regarding the inclusion of Baby Jane Doe in the third season Pit.
For those unaware, the second season of HBO’s procedural medical drama television series concluded with Wyle, who played Dr. Michael “Robbie” Robinovitch, a senior attending physician for Pitt and Baby Jane Doe, the center of attention.
Dr. Robbie’s final scene, as well as the final scene of the season, featured him holding the baby, as the infant was found in the bathroom at the beginning of the shift.
Speaking about his poor mental health and suicidal thoughts, Wyle revealed in the scene, “I was abandoned too when I was 8. But I overcame all of that and so will you.”
He said, “I feel good that you’re going to be just fine. Everything is going to be okay. You have so many wonderful things to see and so many people to love before you.”
It’s worth mentioning that the scene ended without teasing anything about Baby Jane Doe’s future.
in conversation with People magazine on the red carpet of the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Thursday, April 23, Wyle expressed his thoughts about the baby, saying, “I think we have to bring her back.”
The 54-year-old American actor and television director joked, “At least in Season 20, as a new nurse.”
pit, which released its first season on HBO Max in 2025, with the final episode of the second season airing on April 16, 2026. The series has been renewed for a third season; However, the makers have not yet revealed the exact release date.
