Through My Bible Year 03 – April 27

² Come together, O sons of Jacob, and hear this.
Listen to your father Israel.

³ Reuben, you are my firstborn, my strength,
And the beginning of my passion,
Excellence in dignity and excellence in power.

⁴ You will not become great even if you boil like water,
Because you went to your father’s bed,
And you defiled it.
He went all the way to my sofa!

⁵ Simeon and Levi are brothers.

⁸ Judah, your brothers will praise you.
Your hand will be on the neck of your enemies.
Your father’s sons will worship you.

¹⁰ The scepter will not leave Judah,

He will get the obedience of the people.

He has washed his clothes in wine,
His clothes are stained with grape blood.

¹² His eyes will be darker than wine,
His teeth are whiter than milk. ⁽⁴⁾

¹³ Zebulun will reside on the seashore.
It will provide a landing place for ships.
His border will extend towards Sidon.

¹⁴ Issachar is a strong donkey,
Lying between the saddlebags. ⁽⁵⁾

¹⁶ Dan will judge his people
As one of the tribes of Israel.

¹⁷ There will be a snake in the path of charity,
A snake on the way.
It bites the horse’s heel,
Due to which its rider falls backwards.

¹⁸ I have waited for your salvation, O! God.

¹⁹ The attackers will attack the silt,
But he will attack their heels.

²⁰ Asher’s food will be delicious.
He will prepare dishes worthy of a king.

²¹ Naphtali is a deer that has become free,
He raises beautiful deer kids. ⁽⁶⁾

²² Joseph is a fruitful vine,
A fruitful vine on the bank of a waterfall.
Its branches pass over the wall. ⁽⁷⁾

²³ The archers attacked them fiercely.
They shot at him and harassed him,

²⁵ I swear by the God of your father, who will help you,

With blessings from heaven above,

Blessings from the breasts and from the womb.

²⁶ Your father’s blessings are greater than your father’s blessings

Greater than the treasures of the ancient hills.
