If you have a Galaxy smartphone with Samsung’s Wallet app, you may want to wait for this update—Samsung recently announced It’s working on a new tool called “Trips” within Samsung Wallet Which adds some much-needed travel management and organization functions for users. Comments Woncheol Chae, EVP of Mobile Experience (MX) Business and Head of Digital Wallet Team at Samsung:
Travel plans are often scattered across confirmations, apps, and messages, and this creates friction at the exact moments people need clarity… By bringing Trips to Samsung Wallet, we’re giving Galaxy users a single place to keep their travel details organized and stay one step ahead as their plans unfold.
Keeping this in mind, Trips will provide users with a timeline that will have all the information including travel-related plans in a single consolidated view. Trips will group all related items in Samsung Wallet (e.g. by schedule and location), and users will be able to manage their tickets, bookings, rental vehicles, and even access Reminders, plans and notes throughout the trip.
As for availability, Samsung says the new Trips feature will be available in Samsung Wallet on select Samsung Galaxy Android phones in Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom from April 2026.
