A video by Sidney Sweeney, which received over two million views, has been disabled by X in response to a request from the copyright owner.
This action convinced some people, who were divided over whether the video was real or AI-generated, that the copyright request was made because the clip was authentic.
The story goes that Sidney Sweeney was recorded making audible noises on a heated microphone while filming a scene for the HBO series “Euphoria.”
In the clip, she was seen standing on all fours on a lounge chair wearing a red checkered print crop top and matching shorts, when a loud noise came from behind her.
Swinney looked over his shoulder briefly before smiling and continuing the scene.
“Stop it,” a person can be heard saying off-camera.
The clip was posted on Monday on an Instagram account known for satirical content. The post’s caption jokingly suggested that the audio was “enhanced using state-of-the-art AI wind detection software.”
Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the popular drama series, appeared unfazed as filming continued.
