DJI has been on a spree with new product launches, and the latest is the DJI Mic Mini 2, The follow-up to its entry-level wireless mic From the end of 2024. It went on sale globally on April 28, and the title isn’t the only new features. This is the price. The complete kit consisting of two transmitters, a receiver and a charging case retails for €89 in Europe and £89 in the UK.
Key audio specs carry on: 48kHz/24-bit recording, automatic anti-clipping, two-level noise cancellation, and five-level gain. What’s new is a set of three voice tone presets borrowed from the DJI Mic 3: Regular, Rich, and Bright. They let you decide how your sound will sound on the device without touching post-production. Battery life lasts 11.5 hours for the transmitter and 10.5 hours for the receiver, with the case increasing total runtime to 48 hours.
Other notable additions are interchangeable magnetic front covers in ten colors, with most bundles including black and white. The DJI Mic Mini 2 connects directly to OsmoAudio devices like the Osmo Action 6 and Osmo Pocket 3 without the need for a separate receiver.
DJI Mic Mini 2 is not coming to the US
This is where things get complicated. There is no US launch date for the DJI Mic Mini 2. The FCC filing for the Mic Mini 2 disappeared from the US database after the FCC added DJI to its cover list in December 2025. That designation was intended for drones, but it is now barring new non-drone products as well. The Osmo Pocket 4 launched globally on April 16 and also skipped the US. The DJI Mic 2 is still available in the states, but the new DJI gear faces a tough path to reach US shelves.
DJI also teased a Mic Mini 2S on launch day, which includes internal recording and four-transmitter support. It’s scheduled to arrive this summer, with no confirmation of availability in the US either.
