King Charles is reportedly choosing to remain silent in response to repeated attempts to have a one-on-one conversation with Sarah Ferguson.
According to a US-based entertainment site, the King does not want to be involved in any more drama involving the former Duchess of York.
He said that the monarch is afraid that whatever he says to Fergie in private will become public if she decides to leak it.
Ferguson is said to be exploring major media deals, including a potential TV documentary and a future book, which has made the Royals even more cautious.
He said, “At this point she has become completely radioactive. No one wants to go close to her. She seems to be completely oblivious to this and keeps trying to force some kind of reaction. It is testing everyone’s patience.”
“There’s a real fear that anything said could be used against him, whether it’s in his book or in some kind of legal situation.
“The royals have no doubt that Sarah will eventually sit down on TV and give her side of the story, or move forward with her memoir.
“So the last thing they’re willing to do before this is to provide her with additional talking points. All this gives them even more reason to stay away from her, but she’s not getting the message.”
