Meghan Markle has apparently extended an olive branch to her father-in-law King Charles and Queen Camilla during their state visit to the United States.
Meghan, who returned to social media last year, often delights her fans by sharing glimpses of her life on Instagram. However, in a rare and thoughtful twist, Archie and Lilibet’s loving mom has decided not to post any photos or videos at this time — allowing the spotlight to gently remain on King Charles and Queen Camilla and their trip to the United States.
Royal fans see Meghan Markle’s move as an apparent olive branch to King Charles and the royal family.
Earlier, there were reports that in mid-2025, Prince Harry had also offered to share his official diaries and engagement schedules with Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace to reduce tensions with the royal family and avoid schedule conflicts.
On the advice of the British government and at the invitation of United States President Donald Trump, King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in Washington DC on Monday to begin a four-day state visit to the United States.
The King and Queen were welcomed by President Trump and the First Lady at the White House.
King Charles also addressed a joint meeting of Congress, following in his mother’s footsteps after Queen Elizabeth II became the first British monarch to do so in 1991.
