Soundcore Boom Go 3i portable bluetooth speaker has fallen $49.99 From its usual $79.99, and price tracker There are suggestions that this is an all-time low. It is a compact, palm-sized speaker designed for portability, weighing around 380 grams. It also has a built-in silicone strap, which is basic but practical, allowing you to loop it over a bike’s handlebar or hang it at the campsite without the need for additional accessories.
The sound quality out of the box is average, with the mids coming through clearly, while the bass and treble feel restrained. You can fix this by making some EQ adjustments in the app. It still won’t sound like a big speaker (its 15W mono output keeps expectations in check), but it becomes enjoyable for casual listening with a small group nearby. The focus here is on durability – with an IP68 rating, it’s completely dustproof and can withstand submersion in water, making it a safe choice for outdoor use. Soundcore also says it can survive drops of about one meter, which adds some reassurance when using it in less controlled environments.

It also has some extra features that add flexibility, like the small digital display on the side that shows battery level and status icons, and RGB lighting that reacts to music. You can turn off the lights if you prefer a simpler look or want to save battery, which according to the manufacturer, can last up to 24 hours at medium volume with the lights off and up to 40 hours in Eco mode, although heavy use with lighting enabled brings it closer to six hours. Most of the controls sit inside the companion app, where you can adjust the EQ, enable BassUp 2.0, switch to Echo mode, or remap buttons. It also has a voice amplifier feature, which sounds specific but could come in handy outdoors.
