    TL;DR

    • Google is expanding Gemini notebooks to mobile apps.
    • This feature is available to both free and paid users.
    • Expansion to additional countries in Europe will follow at a later date.

Last year, Google released an update to Gemini that introduced NotebookLM integration, allowing AI to use NotebookLM as a source. Earlier this month, this integration went a little deeper after the tech giant introduced “Notebooks” in Gemini, a dedicated space to organize your chats and files. Google said the notebook would eventually come to mobile apps, and now it’s here.

Today, Google officially posted on social media announcement of Rollout of notebooks in Gemini for mobile users. This integration gives the chatbot access to all your personal, unshared notebooks directly inside the app. Additionally, you can use your chat with the AI as a source in a new or existing unshared notebook.

When the notebook was first introduced in Gemini, it was only available to Google AI Ultra, Pro, and Plus customers on the web. With this expansion to mobile, the feature is now available to both paid and free users. It’s worth noting that Free, Plus, Pro, and Ultra users get up to 50, 100, 300, and 600 sources per notebook, respectively.

Google also says that the Gemini notebook will be expanded to other countries in Europe. However, the tech giant did not reveal any date for this expansion, only saying that it will happen “soon”.
