Scarlett Johansson Doesn’t Like Being Involved in Husband Colin Jost’s “Stupid Shopping” Because Miracle The actress was not really happy when Colin told her that he had decided to invest the money with a group of investors in a dismantled part of the John F. Kennedy Staten Island Ferry for $280,100.
In the recent teaser of smartless For the upcoming May 4 episode of the podcast, the comedian shared, “I messaged Scarlett, ‘Guess what? Now we have a yacht.'”
In response, Scarlett didn’t seem impressed as Colin recalled, “And she was like, ‘Us?'”
Colin revealed that he got the idea of purchasing the yacht, on which the 63-year-old JFK yacht traveled from Grimes Hill as a teenager to attend Regis High School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, after his friend Pete Davidson texted him when the yacht was up for auction.
43 year old Saturday night Live Starr admitted that “he was the wrong person to message when you have an idea like that.”
Colin said he replied to Pete, “I asked, ‘Should we buy it?’ “
And Pete followed the lead of his former classmate and fellow Staten Islander.
“F*** yes, we have to do it!” Pete replied at that time.
However, Colin called his idea “kind of a crazy money pit”, recalling his mentality, “I was thinking the real estate way, if you put it somewhere, it’s 70,000 square feet.”
“So I was like, ‘If you put this on a dock in Manhattan, you’ll suddenly basically have a building on the waterfront.'”
Now, Colin has revealed that he is planning to start a swimming club on the yacht along with an entertainment venue and it will also take annual trips to Miami in the winter.
If impulse buying, including renovation, was the right choice, Colin reassured, “It’ll be fine!”
He joked, “Is this a good financial sign where you say, ‘It’s OK!?'”
It is worth mentioning that Scarlett and Colin tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed a son named Cosmo in August 2021.
