Heidi Klum has finally revealed the reason behind her decision to bring her son Henry Samuel on a red-carpet date.
while talking to People Magazine, Klum, who shares her 20-year-old son with ex-husband Seal, explained why Henry has started accompanying her everywhere.
Referring to her current husband, Tom Kaulitz, she said, “Honestly, because my husband has been traveling a lot and I didn’t want to go alone. So, Henry said, ‘I’ll come with you, Mom.’ And I’m like, ‘This is awesome.'”
The 52-year-old German-American model, television host and businesswoman commented, “I mean, what better date could you have than your son?”
Klum admitted that she looks at things “through the lens of someone who is really young and everything is still very exciting” and full of “fun”.
“Obviously, things are super exciting to me too, but it’s different with a 20-year-old when they see things for the first time and do things like big red carpets,” he explained. “…So, he’s always very appreciative that I take him.”
“But honestly, I appreciate more that he comes with me, that he’s proud to be by my side. And we have a fun night together. We like to people-watch, we chat a little. It’s a real fun night with my son,” the devil Wears Prada Starr confessed.
It is noteworthy that Heidi Klum is the mother of four children, Leni, Henry, Johan and Lou. She welcomed daughter Leni with Flavio Briatore in 2004, but her ex-husband Seal adopted her when she tied the knot with him in 2005.
