The ball, moving at a very high speed, hit Chand directly on his face, due to which he lost a lot of blood. Disturbing visuals of the incident quickly circulated on social media, causing concern among fans and the wider cricket community. Fellow spectators immediately rushed to his aid before he was taken for medical treatment. Reports later confirmed that he needed stitches near his eyebrow, though thankfully his eye was unharmed.
