Political analyst Daniel Levy says that US policy is so ‘seasoned’ into the Israeli narrative that the two are indistinguishable.
Former Israeli negotiator Daniel Levy argues that Israel is in a race against time to “shut down its dominance” throughout the Middle East.
Levy, president of the US/Middle East Project, told host Steve Clemons that Israel’s strategy of “permanent war” allows for only two types of countries in the region: either dependent, or “too collapsed, failing and fragile to withstand any challenge”.
Levy says Israel could try to prevent a US-Iran agreement by advocating “just another major military operation” against Iran and “heating things up” with continued attacks on Lebanese and Palestinians despite a ceasefire on paper.
