Sarah Ferguson is struggling under the weight of the media backlash that grows with each release of the Epstein files. It’s gotten to the point where a source has come forward with information about how damaging and tiring this whole thing has become for her.
News about his ordeal has been shared in an interview with radaronline. In that interview the source explained, “Sarah is struggling with deep anxiety at the moment – she fully understands the seriousness of the attention being paid to her condition, and it has had a noticeable emotional impact.”
However what is doubling her mental load is the “constant pressure and scrutiny” as they have made her feel “deeply overwhelmed” and at times she feels “exhausted under the weight of it all”.
They also admit, “Sarah is really uneasy about the prospect of returning to the UK, and this anxiety has deepened over time.”
“Right now, she’s relying heavily on a close group of trusted friends to keep her stable,” he admits.
But that doesn’t mean Fergie is under the impression that this is long-term because as the insider admits, “At the same time, there’s an underlying awareness that this period of retreat can’t last indefinitely, leaving her torn between needing to shelter in place and knowing that eventually she’ll have to confront the situation.”
For those who don’t know how he got into this situation, it all ties back to leaked emails linking him to a convicted child sex offender named Jeffrey Epstein. While the man in question has been dead for years, as a result of suicide, the Justice Department has just released the Epstein files, and is continuing to slowly release the 3 million pages it promised to scrub into the public domain. As of now, no emails link Fergie to any illegal behavior, but her decision to call him her ‘best friend’ among other things has angered her fans as she went public to bash the financier when the news first broke, despite later privately issuing an apology email for using the ‘P’ word.
For those who are unaware of what led her to this point, it has to do with leaked emails that linked her to a convicted child sex offender named Jeffrey Epstein. While the man in question has been dead for years, by suicide, the Justice Department has just released the Epstein files, and continues to slowly release the 3 million pages it promised to scrub into the public domain.
As of now, no emails link Fergie to any illegal behavior, but her decision to call him her ‘best friend’ among other things has angered her fans as she went public to bash the financier when the news first broke, despite later privately issuing an apology email for using the ‘P’ word.
Her original statement read, “I abhor pedophilia and any sexual exploitation of children.” But later emails revealed that he had written to her again, saying, “I know you are feeling very disappointed by what you were told or read and I must apologize to you and from the bottom of my heart for this.”
The back and forth also led to a statement from her where she claimed the apology email was done due to blackmail against her and her representative said, “”Like many people, she was caught in (Epstein’s) lies. As soon as she learned of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only broke off contact but also publicly denounced him, to the extent that she then threatened to sue him for defamation for linking him to pedophilia. She never went back on anything she said then. “This email was sent in the context of advice the Duchess was given to silence Epstein and his threats.”
