Charlize Theron doesn’t want to raise spoiled children as she revealed the strict parenting approach she takes for her teenage daughters.
during a recent chat therapas podcast, the apex sTarr, who is mom to two daughters, Jackson, 14, and August, 11, shared that her girls are hoping to get jobs in real life as they grow up.
He also revealed that he will not receive a car as a gift on his 16th birthday and will learn the importance of earning his own money.
The point began, “First of all, your first car will be a Datsun, because you’re going to crash it.”
He continued to tell host Jake Shane about his approach, “You’re going to fuck it up either way. You’re a new driver. So, we’re not going to get a good car up front… We need a little bit of experience, and we’re going to earn it.”
It is noteworthy that Theron was adopted in August 2015 and Jackson in 2012.
The Oscar winner further revealed that she has started pressurizing her daughter to take up service roles.
Theron quipped, “Every time we go to Starbucks, I say, ‘Look at this… Do you see how friendly he is? You have to be so friendly at 6 a.m. every morning. Start getting ready for this’.”
On why she has a strict attitude towards her daughters, Theron said that she wants her daughter to be capable enough to support herself if necessary.
Theron said, “It’s too early to say where they’ll end up,” adding, “They just need to get a job that pays them, because I don’t want to support them for the rest of their lives.”
