Live: 2026 World Press Freedom Day

Media freedom is not taken for granted and its absence often puts communities and vulnerable individuals at risk. To mark World Press Freedom Day, we will listen to UN agencies as well as war correspondents and journalists who face huge obstacles trying to do their work. Its aim is to gain a better understanding of what freedom of the press means in practice and why it must be defended.
