Mel B’s daughter, Phoenix Brown, opened up about her rare bond with David and Victoria Beckham’s sons, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo.
In an exclusive chat with Hello magazine, the 27-year-old DJ revealed that she spent a large part of her childhood with the Beckham boys, noting that it was like “having brothers.”
Why? Because her mothers, Mel B and Victoria, are former bandmates of the Spice Girls. Victoria got the nickname Posh Spice at the time, while Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Janine Brown, was known as Scary Spice.
“We were born in the same hospital — I literally grew up with them. I have a lot of great memories of me and the boys. We used to live around the corner from each other’s houses,” Phoenix told the outlet.
She continued, “It was like having brothers, because I was an only child for a long time.”
However, Phoenix did not speak about the ongoing Beckham family feud; She added, “We still keep in touch, but everyone is busy and have their own lives, so we see each other whenever we can.”
It is worth mentioning that Victoria and David are also parents to 14-year-old daughter Harper.
Mel B welcomes Phoenix with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.
