Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter broke Met Gala rules in her first appearance.
The 2026 Met Gala, taking place on Monday, May 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, is themed ‘Fashion Is Art’, promoting the museum’s upcoming spring exhibition ‘Costume Art.’
At the star-studded event, 14-year-old Blue made her debut to support her mother, who served as co-chair alongside Nicole Kidman, Anna Wintour and Venus Williams.
Notably, the normal age to join the program is 18 or older, but Blue broke the rules to live with her mother.
For the event, Cowboy Carter singer Beyoncé chose a skeleton-inspired dress, a matching headpiece, and a feathered cape to dramatize her look.
Blue, on the other hand, kept her look minimal as she chose to flaunt a monochromatic white strapless Baleniaga gown with a billowing skirt and train.
Keeping her look trendy and cool, she wore an unzipped jacket and a pair of silver stilettos which she teamed up with a pair of sunglasses.
It’s important to note that in addition to their daughter, Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, also brought family energy and abundant glamor at the end of the night.
