Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, has been issued a stern warning following the palace’s announcement regarding her daughter Princess Eugenie’s third pregnancy.
The palace also announced that King Charles is pleased to hear that Eugenie is pregnant with her third child.
The palace says, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child this summer.
“August (age 5) and Ernest (age 2) are also very excited to have another sibling joining the family.”
“The King has been informed and is delighted with the news,” the statement said of the king’s enthusiasm.
Following the announcement, a royal expert has warned the former Duchess that she has ‘no choice’ but to stay behind in her daughters’ lives.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told daily Express: “This is very happy news and has been welcomed by the King who is known to love his nieces immensely. Sarah Ferguson will no doubt be delighted. However, as we saw with Andrew when Athena was christened last December, she will have to keep a low profile. He was not included in the christening photographs and neither was she.”
He added, “If she decides to go that route there may be chances for an interview, but after recent events there are no chances of a comeback.
“It’s not in his nature to back down, but for Eugenie’s sake, he has no choice.”
