Thistle Resources Inc. (TSXV:TRCG) (“‘company” Or “thistle“), is pleased to announce that it has commenced trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSXV).
Thistle Resources Inc. is a Canadian public mineral exploration company focused on the exploration of precious metals and critical minerals (Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag and Au) in the world famous Bathurst Mining Camp, New Brunswick, Canada. The Company’s primary business objective is to explore its five projects: Middle River Gold, Brunswick Antimony, Middle River VMS, Alba Forks Gold and Celtic Highland Gold. Our major projects are the Middle River Gold and Brunswick Antimony Projects. Today we would like to introduce you to our Middle River Gold Project.
Middle River Gold Project
- Established in 2017, Thistle Resources Corp. (100% subsidiary of Thistle Resources Inc.) owns (5) projects covering 127.87 km2, (4) in the world-renowned Bathurst Mining Camp (BMC) in New Brunswick and (1) in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia Canada.
- The Bathurst Mining Camp (BMC) and projects in Cape Breton, NS are 100% on Crown land.
- The company has a highly experienced technical team with over 100 years of combined experience in field exploration. The team has a year-round presence in Bathurst, New Brunswick with full exploration infrastructure.
- The Middle River Gold Project is located adjacent to the Brunswick Horizon, on the eastern edge of the Nine Mile Syncline, approximately 10 kilometers north of the historic Brunswick #12 Mine.
- The deposit is a structurally controlled silicified zone that contains gold mineralization over a strong width (up to 38 m) and appears to be associated with a distinctive “mélange” unit that is thought to be related to a thrust contact between the sediments and the volcanic field.
- The deposit has an upper Au zone (at surface 130 m) and a newly identified and untapped, high chargeability, lower zone (at 400 m depth) as defined by both EarthX Geophysical Solutions Inc. and Abitibi Geophysics.
- Using leading geophysics techniques and 3D modeling, EarthX Geophysical Solutions Inc. and Abitibi Geophysics both independently identified a 7 km mineralized “S-trend” and “Mineralized Fold Trend” (Figures #3 – #4)
- Gold mineralization has been explored by (1) trenching and (2) drill programs, in only a 500 meter section and we have 7 km of mineralized bends to drill (Figures #4 – #5).
- Mineralization is associated with arsenopyrite and pyrite within a broad, bleached alteration zone, including silica, sericite, chlorite, calcite, and fuchsite.
- Results from the Thistle drill program show high-grade mineralization assays at strong thick intersections in several holes, (Tables 1-2-3).
- The next step is to commence our Phase 3 drill program at the Middle River deposit.
- Drill permits have been received and drilling will commence shortly with the intention of proving the 2M oz + Au deposit along the newly identified 7 km of mineralized layers.

Patrick J Cruikshank, President and CEO, Director, said, “We are excited to introduce our company and begin trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. After years of development, strong drill results and the use of industry leading 3D geophysics and proprietary algorithms for target definition, we are determined to meet our exploration goals and begin our Phase 3 drill program at the deposit this summer. We have our upper zone along our identified 7 km There is a tremendous opportunity to mine and drill the mineralized folds, and our newly identified high chargeability zone is well capitalized and our team expects to have a very active 2026 exploration season towards our 2 million ounce target of developing all 5 projects in our portfolio.
Gary Lohman, P.Geo, VP Exploration, said, “Based on the work done by EarthX and Abitibi Geophysics, there is an abundance of drill-ready high-priority targets (50+) with mineralized layers. The untested lower zone, independently identified by both EarthX and Abitibi Geophysics, is characterized by extremely high chargeability, the size and scale of anomalies that allow the deposit to be further explored and ounces The potential of the Middle River Gold Deposit is a testament to the new technology toolset, and the team is eager to get off the ground and expand the footprint of the Middle River Gold Deposit.”

Analysis and QA/QC
All samples were submitted to and analyzed at Bureau Veritas, an independent commercial laboratory for both sample preparation and assay. Bureau Veritas (BV) is a commercial laboratory independent from Thistle Resources Inc. Samples submitted through BV are run through standard preparation methods and analyzed using aqua regia digestion with ICP-ES finish, code AQ300. Gold is analyzed by standard fire assay (FA450) using a 50 gram sample. Overlimit testing is done by gravimetric analysis (FA550). BV performs its own QA/AC protocols, including coarse and pulp duplicate analysis to ensure proper sample preparation and instrument calibration.
Thistle’s QAQC program involves regularly checking CRM standards, including duplicates and blanks in the sample stream with rigorous review of all results. QAQC and data validation were performed, and no significant errors were observed.
Comment: Details of the 2022 drill program are contained in the NI 43-101 report filed by Sears, Barry & Associates Ltd. on November 30, 2025.
