Sarah Ferguson has been repeatedly warned against writing a memoir, but a source warns that she has actually decided to go ahead with the release, mainly because she has found a subject who is ‘fair game’ and has already lost all support from the royal family.
The ‘subject’ in this regard is none other than her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been transferred to a privately owned Crown estate not dependent on tax-payer pounds.
The ex-Duke of York once boasted a 30-bedroom lease at the Royal Lodge but has now been “completely cut off and ostracized” so Fergie is said to feel there would be “no reaction” if she became the main subject.
This comes as a well-placed source has warned nearest magazine“She will probably be quite reluctant to come down too hard on the royals,” as it has become clear that “all of her things will be extremely cruel”, at least “when it comes to Andrew and what he feels he has done to him.”
According to the insider, “Sarah feels completely justified in writing all this off and throwing Andrew under the bus.”
She also tells people around her that the more she ‘reflects’ on everything that happened, “the more she believes she was put into difficult and often harmful situations by Andrew and was left to deal with it alone.”
However, that doesn’t mean Andrew intends to sit back while she does this, with the same source also admitting that it’s been ‘shocking’ for those who knew the two of them, to see how they’ve become towards each other now.
Especially since for decades now they have often been called the ‘happiest divorced couple’ and there were even rumors that they were in talks to ‘move in together’ and do some kind of things together.
But now they say Andrew is “now about saving his own skin,” because given that he lives on a privately run royal estate, he now has to think about protecting ‘what little stability’ he has left, “especially when it comes to his living situation and staying in the good graces of Charles and Sarah fighting for survival.”
“Unless something huge changes, this will be the most vicious fight the royals have seen in years,” the insider said before the signing.
