The mysterious death of a fashion influencer took a horrifying turn when his family revealed he was blackmailed before he was found dead.
Aysegul Eraslan, 27, was found unconscious in his apartment in Istanbul, Türkiye after posting a series of horrific messages online.
When she failed to open the door, the cops forced their way inside, where she was declared dead at the scene.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office is now investigating the circumstances following his death in March.
The family’s lawyer, Hasan Yilmaz, now claims there is “concrete evidence” Aysegul was threatened before her body was found.
“The suspects have been identified in this regard, but unfortunately their statements have not been taken yet,” he said.

Yilmaz also alleged that the influencer was blackmailed over the intimate images.
“Concrete evidence has been presented by her family that she was blackmailed through indecent photographs,” he said.
“Despite the identity of the individual being known, his statement not being taken deeply saddens us.”
Investigators have conducted a full forensic examination of the apartment and reportedly found fingerprints of three people.
However, the prints are said to belong to Aysegul’s family members.
Investigators also found a handwritten note stained with blood, which is not believed to have been written by Aysegul.
DNA samples recovered from the knife linked to the incident have also been sent for testing.
Calling for a comprehensive investigation, lawyer Yilmaz said: “We believe this file should be handled within the unit established for unsolved and suspicious deaths.
“We demand that it be established beyond doubt whether it was suicide, murder or abetment to suicide.”
Shortly before her death, Aysegul shared a horrifying social media message asking followers to take care of her dogs.
The message reads: “I’m sensitive, or life is really bad. I just want my dogs to be taken care of.”
“I have always given importance to people in life. I also apologize to my father.”
“In this life, I never knew the love of a mother or a father. I grew up with a lot of violence.”
Aysegul was known to millions of Turkish viewers through her appearance on the popular fashion show, This Is My Style.
She went on to have a prosperous career in the industry, running an atelier in Istanbul, designing collections for runway shows.
Investigation is ongoing.
