Prince William takes his three children and their childhood seriously.
The Prince of Wales wants Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to have a normal childhood like their mother Kate Middleton.
In a new biography of William and Catherine, The Monarchy’s New Era: The Inside Story, royal editor Russell Myers wrote: “William greatly appreciated their participation, whatever the circumstances, while enjoying the general state of their relationship and environment.”
Myers wrote: “Michael and Carol enjoyed visiting the couple in Norfolk and often stayed for weekends, providing much-needed additional support to the young family.”
“Although there are some similarities, George is being brought up very differently to Prince William,” royal expert Duncan Larcombe told the Daily Mail.
“William has raised his children based on the Middleton model – three kids, affluent but hard-working parents and lots of love at home.”
