The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is cleaning Six Flags Magic Mountain after a bomb threat, officials said Monday.
Sheriff Sgt. Mark Perkins said officers responded to the property after a man made a bomb threat against the theme park shortly before 8 a.m. He said K-9 units were also on the way.
According to the release, the call came in more than two hours before the park, located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, was scheduled to open. website.
California Highway Patrol said on x that it had closed access to the park entrance and was assisting the Sheriff’s Department after the park received “numerous bomb threats.”
