Jennifer Lopez has reportedly decided to walk away from her romance with Brett Goldstein.
Insiders revealed that singer and actress Goldstein never intended to have a serious relationship, as she sees it as a comeback after her breakup from Ben Affleck.
“From the beginning, she saw him as a rebound,” the source told Radar Online, adding, “He doesn’t tick all the boxes for her. He’s not a leading man and he failed her wallet biopsy test.”
Lopez and Goldstein reportedly became close while filming the romantic comedy Office Romance following the actress’ split from Affleck in August 2024.
Sources also said that Jennifer Lopez believes Brett Goldstein is a “good guy” and “wanted it to go further” but that it was not going to be anything serious.
She also had a brand to think about and reportedly needed someone “whose bank account and star quality is on the same level. Brett isn’t there yet.”
“J.Lo knows what it takes to keep a man interested long term and she doesn’t want to compromise,” the source revealed.
