As Eliza Blue Allman is set to go to trial on June 16, sources reveal Cher is ‘very sad.’
Tension over Eliza is said to have ruined the icon’s upcoming 80th birthday. “Cher is worried about Elijah,” a source tells Radar Online.
“She’s trying her best to stay positive and not get completely caught up in this hell that she’s created for herself, but it’s very hard,” he said.
Elijah is allegedly accused of creating a ruckus in a pre-school in New Hampshire. Notably, Cher also attempted to gain temporary guardianship over Eliza, citing concerns about severe addiction and mental health struggles, but the request was denied in court.
However, his lawyer said, “Eliza is disappointed, but not surprised, by this latest attempt to regain control of her finances.”
The source also said, “She’s obviously in a very bad way, and the worst part is that she’s very angry at him. She’s made him an enemy. She’s only trying to get guardianship because she believes he’ll kill himself with drugs if she doesn’t intervene, but he doesn’t see it that way. She’s vowed to tear him to pieces when he stands up for his trial.”
“He is so angry that he wants to use any platform to attack his mother,” she said.
Additionally, Cher’s boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards is also said to be concerned with a source stating that he can’t even get Cher to smile because she has become “so depressed”.
