Prince William is currently looking for reliable reinforcements he can rely on, and Zara Tindall has just cut it.
This news comes via a reputable source who recently spoke to Ni idea.
According to their findings, the future king’s motivation lay largely in his lack of interest in the patronage in question.
According to the outlet, “After Harry and Andrew, William fully understands the importance of trust — and Zara, along with her husband Mike, are definitely in that category.”
According to the source, the question is whether the heir wants to give him patronage of the royal stud at Sandringham once he ascends the throne, as well as some oversight of the royal racing interests at events such as Ascot and Cheltenham.
As for her reasons, it’s widely linked to the fact that William is nowhere near as enthusiastic about the horse-riding hobby as his grandmother, “so handing it over completely to Zara is a brilliant plan. This new role plays into Zara’s strengths as an Olympic silver-medal rider,” according to the same insider.
However, what makes this a great show of support is the fact that Zara is not a working royal, and has never received a salary or official title from the Crown, “but she has always been close to Wills”, even more so since the family ‘shrunk’ as a result of Prince Harry and Meghan’s exit, followed by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s exile.
The insider also mentioned the importance she showed to Zara by attending Kate and Will’s very important garden launch party before the signing.
Overall, as the source says, “William is looking for reliable reinforcements he can rely on, and Zara – who is loyal, popular and genuinely passionate about horses – is a perfect fit for an iconic role that plays to her strengths without forcing her into full-time royal duties.”
