King Charles and Queen Camilla returned to hosting duties at Buckingham Palace.
Her Majesty hosted her third garden party of the season at the palace on Tuesday.
The King and Queen were joined by Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester and Brigitte, Duchess of Gloucester for the annual gathering, honoring members of the public for their service to communities across the United Kingdom.
The official Instagram handle of the royal family posted photos, which show Camilla turning heads in the familiar white Anna Valentine coat dress with a Philip Treacy hat. Meanwhile, Charles opted for traditional morning attire with a top hat.
The post’s caption reads: “This afternoon, the King and Queen hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace. Their Majesties were also joined by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.”
“Each year, over 30,000 guests are invited to attend the Garden Party, usually in recognition of public service, and nominated by organizations including the armed forces, the NHS and a wide range of charities,” it further read.
The photos shared showed King Charles and Queen Camilla welcoming guests in the palace gardens.
It’s worth mentioning that this year’s garden party calendar is reportedly busier than usual, with additional events scheduled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust later this month and support veterans’ charity The Not Forgotten.
