It’s been 100 days, and there’s still no clue as to where Nancy Guthrie is, leaving the family and well-wishers saddened.
Yet, on the 100th day since her disappearance, a bombshell report emerged.
And the matter became more complicated.
Already, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, in charge of the case, is under investigation.
He is being criticized for his approach to the investigation, in which no suspects have emerged so far.
Now a daily newspaper named Arizona Republic has raised more questions on Nano.
It cited Pima County Assessor Suzanne Droby, who claimed the sheriff allegedly berated her.
For reasons that may surprise readers.
She alleged that Nano scolded her for handing over information to the FBI regarding Nancy’s case.
Drobey claims the sheriff rejected it because it created more work for his department.
“I felt like it was a sign that I had done something wrong by cooperating with the FBI,” the county official told the daily.
In response, the department issued an icy statement on the explosive report.
“I have been advised there is no additional information to provide.”
Nano is already facing calls to drop Nancy’s case; His criticism may increase further with this report.
