Rockstud is back, and Alessandro Michele isn’t making it easy. For Pre-Fall 2026, Valentino has returned to its signature pyramid stud pump with an edgier silhouette since the shoe’s 2010 debut.

It features pointed cage-style toes, ankle straps, red insoles and a polished finish that catches every angle of light. Johnny Dufort shot the campaign in Rome, posing with shoes in front of ancient fountains, carved marble and turquoise waters.

The setting does something specific. It makes Rockstud feel like it’s native to the city that built all that stone and grandeur in the first place. An icy blue pump is photographed near a fountain. Bright green heels caught against the warm travertine. Light jeweled stilettos also sit next to a marble figure.

valentino looks All around them is the Italian summer at its most unique: a luxurious golden coat, lace shorts, soft pink layers, bare feet in the full sun. The collection also extends to strappy sandals and flats, widening the rockstud universe beyond the stiletto.
