Former CSK star Ambati Rayudu claimed that MS Dhoni will actually not feature in any of the remaining matches of Chennai Super Kings this season.
Chennai Super Kings have been missing their talismanic player MS Dhoni this entire season as he was ruled out with a serious injury before the start of the season. Despite returning to the setup, Dhoni has not played a single match this season, while not being included in the playing eleven.
After playing 11 matches this season under the captaincy of captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chennai has currently won six matches and scored 12 points. They are currently placed 5th in the points table and are eyeing a place in the playoffs.

Veteran cricketer MS Dhoni, who will turn 45 this year, has not yet announced his retirement from IPL. Speculations are rife that Dhoni has silently announced his retirement from IPL.
Ambati Rayudu asked whether MS Dhoni will play the remaining matches of this season. “I expect him to play all (of the remaining three matches), but I don’t know how well the team is playing and the momentum is intact. I don’t think he will really trouble the playing XI there,” Rayudu said.
“Then zero?” the presenter asked, and Rayudu replied, “I wouldn’t say so, but it seems so.” Rayudu’s claims seem very natural, as there is every possibility that the journey of former Indian captain MS Dhoni may end this season.

Ambati Rayudu also stopped Punjab Kings from making it to the knockouts of this season of IPL. Ambati Rayudu claimed that the top four teams that will reach the playoffs will not include former table toppers.
He predicted that the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bangalore, are likely to top the points table, and Sunrisers Hyderabad will follow them in the points table. After this he kept Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings as two other teams.
In the current situation, it seems that Gujarat Titans are in a very difficult situation, while on the other hand, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings have a clear chance of making it to the knockouts.
Ambati Rayudu disappointed with MI’s poor performance
Ambati Rayudu also claimed that he is disappointed with the poor performance of former five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the history of IPL. Rayudu has performed for that franchise in previous seasons as well.
Mumbai Indians crashed out of the competition with their last defeat against RCB in Raipur. The five-time champions are in the bottom two places in the points table and will need to make massive changes to make a comeback.
