It appears that Prince George is no longer used to reacting in public as he approaches his teens.
The future king and second claimant to the British royal throne, Prince George, was recently seen looking confused and awkward during a public interaction on Christmas morning 2025.
Speaking about George’s reaction when a fan compared him to Princess Diana, former Royal Butler Grant Harold told Hello! magazine
“George is a little reticent about (royal superfans),” Jobson said. “When she puts her hand on his back, I think it’s natural. There’s no training. They learn by observation.”
Meanwhile, George’s younger sister, Princess Charlotte, is far more adept at public relations.
Hello! Emily Nash, royal editor, says Princess Charlotte has more confidence.
“Even as a little girl when she met newborn Prince Louis for the first time, there was a sense of excitement,” he said. “Her parents have been introducing their children to the spotlight in a careful and controlled manner, and she appears to be making occasional forays into public life so far.”
