Late storage wars Star Darrell Sheets’ son Brandon Sheets wrote a touching tribute to his father just weeks after his tragic death at the age of 67.
On Wednesday, May 13, what would have been Darrell’s 68th birthday, Brandon posted a montage of photos on his Instagram account.
“Happy Birthday @DarrellGambler, thank you for raising me to be the man I am today… I wish I could spend just one more day with you,” Brandon wrote.
He also set the post together ZZ Top‘S just got paid As a soundtrack.
“I love you dad and happy birthday 5/13/1958 to 4/22/2026,” the proud son said.
A day before the late TV personality’s birthday, Brandon also posted a video of his family wishing Darrell “happy birthday.”
“I know it’s early but I always call the night before… Happy Birthday Big-D,” she wrote on the video.
For those best known for the long-running A&E series, Darrell was found dead in his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on April 22.
According to local authorities, Darren apparently took his own life as he was found with a gunshot wound to his head.
It is worth mentioning that Darrell Sheets, who first joined Storage Wars in 2010, remained on the show until the fifteenth season, which aired in 2023.
After leaving the show, he opened an antique shop in Arizona called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
