Thoughts on today’s verse…
God has created you. Just as surely as anyone has been created by God, we too have been created by God. He knew us even before anyone knew we were in the womb. He had known us since our mother had not felt our yearning within her. God had made plans for us even before anyone planned our arrival. He prepared us for His purpose with plans for our lives. He created us intentionally, faithfully, and He created us wonderfully. We are wonderfully made by a loving Creator!
My prayer…
Almighty God, my Savior and Redeemer, thank you for knowing me before I knew you. Thank you for choosing my life and giving it to me. Thank you for the gifts, abilities, and talents you have given me. Now, dear Father, please help me to live with the reverent awareness that you created me and knew me even before my mother knew I was in her womb. Oh Father, and please make me aware again of the sacredness and sanctity of every other person, so that I may realize that You also fashioned and knew them from their conception! Through Jesus, I pray and thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Amen.
