Mike Tindall has shared a heartfelt note to mark his wife Zara’s 45th birthday today, amid Prince William’s royal plans for his cousin.
According to media reports, the Prince of Wales has big plans to promote Zara, one of his most trusted members of his family, to a key royal role if he becomes king.

“It is no secret that when William took over he had plans for Zara and there was already talk of her patronage of the Royal Stud at Sandringham, as well as some oversight of the royal racing interests at events such as Ascot and Cheltenham.
“It makes complete sense as William is not as enthusiastic about the horse riding hobby as his grandmother, so handing it over completely to Zara is a brilliant plan.
“This new role plays to Zara’s strengths as an Olympic silver medalist.”
Amid Prince William’s plans, Mike shared a sweet photo with Zara on social media to celebrate her special day.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, Mike said: “I can’t believe she’s letting me play golf on her birthday. What a legend!” Followed by a heart emoticon.
