A young woman has been left with traumatic brain injuries after she allegedly jumped from a balcony while trying to escape a gang rape, reports say.
The alleged victim fell from the first floor of an apartment while trying to flee from the suspects – police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Emergency services attended the scene after receiving reports of a woman falling from a balcony.
The fire department rushed to Senftenberger Straße at 3:15 am on Tuesday before finding the woman in a horrific condition.
Five unidentified people reportedly helped him back inside his apartment.
When the ambulance arrived, it is said that his condition was so serious that an emergency medic vehicle was called.

Police also arrived at the scene and began an investigation after some time – but no arrests were made.
After taking the woman to the hospital, doctors found that she had suffered serious brain injuries.
She is currently undergoing treatment.
Police sources told Bild that a possible sex crime inside the apartment is being investigated.
The property has been searched as part of the investigation.
On Wednesday, forensic inspectors came to the spot to collect samples from the apartment.
But police have not ruled out the possibility that the alleged suspects may have tried to destroy evidence.
