Alec Baldwin is said to have parted ways with Hollywood.
Following the Rust tragedy, insiders revealed that the actor and filmmaker has dedicated himself to raising his children and giving his wife Hilaria the space to pursue her own work.
“Alec has been running on empty for years,” an insider told a US media outlet.
She added, “And now he loves taking the lion’s share of the child-minding, giving Hilaria the time and space to do her own thing, especially since she has so many work projects and other passions that take up a lot of her time.”
For those unaware, Alec Baldwin was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the 2021 accidental shooting death of Rust cinematographer Halina Hutchins. However, the judge ultimately dismissed the case.
Now, the source claimed, “She is still very affected by this tragedy. It’s a dark cloud that hangs over her head and is still putting a lot of pressure on her.”
She added, “His fuse is still off and he doesn’t eat healthy at all, despite everyone telling him he needs to keep an eye on his blood pressure.”
Earlier, Alec spoke about the tragedy, saying, “I can tell you, (the Jung tragedy) broke every nerve in my body, spiritually, financially, work-wise, my career, my wife, my kids, my friends, my health.”
“It took at least 10 years out of my life,” he said.
