Jack Osbourne has hit out at celebrities who share his political views, telling them to “shut the fuck up.”
TV personality Sharon Osbourne, son of late rocker Ozzy Osbourne, said celebrities should remain entertainers.
Jack and Sharon were in Washington on Friday, May 15, when Indiana GOP Rep. Victoria Spartz entered Ozzie’s biography into the Congressional Record.
Later, a TMZ reporter asked the pair, “Are you guys political at all?”
To which, Jack responded, “You know, I think celebrities need to keep their mouths shut. Entertain. Entertain people. Shut the fuck up.”
Then the news reporter asked him, “Don’t you think that if you’ve got a platform, and you’ve got a big opinion, you should probably use your platform to change hearts and minds?”
Jack replied, “Then be a politician, not an entertainer.”
When the TV personality was asked if he would become a politician one day, Jack replied, “No!”
For those unaware, Jack’s father Ozzy died due to cardiac arrest on July 22, 2025. He was 76 years old.
The Osbourne family wrote in a statement at the time, “It is with sadness beyond words that we have to announce that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
