As the final trailer reveals, The Boys is headed for an explosive finale.
In the final game, Billy Butcher, played by Karl Urban, is preparing to give everything to his team.
The first glimpse of the finale shows that the boys’ battle against Homelander is coming to a head.
With the episode titled Blood and Bone, expect an all-out war.
“Can’t show you much more without spoiling the whole kit and caboodle,” the show’s official account said.
“But on Wednesday, we’re going all the way. No matter the cost. “Until the job gets done.”
However, as the finale approaches, there is fear among The Boys team, especially creator Eric Kripke.
“I’m quite nervous about the series finale,” he previously said.
“You can count on one, maybe two hands, two really great series finales.”
Then, Kripke pointed to a series of hit shows whose endings became divisive among fans.
“The graveyard is literally full of terrible series finales,” the creator shared on Sony’s Creator to Creator podcast.
“I’m quite nervous about the series finale,” he admitted.
The Boys will first be released in theaters on May 19 and on streamers on May 20.
