King Charles appears to have gotten out of an awkward situation earlier this week.
Her Majesty, who was seen at the Royal Albert Hall attending Roger’s concert for the King’s Trust, avoided making an awkward comment herself.
Speaking to the king, Sir Rod said: “Can I say good job America, you were brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You really put that little rat bag in its place.”
Speaking of King Charles’s reaction; Expert Richard Kay said: “Are the cameras rolling? Are Mike catching it? He knows in his heart the answer is almost certainly yes, but he’s adept at awkward situations like this but he always knows he doesn’t want to make the situation worse, and he instinctively moved on.
He said, “We couldn’t actually hear what comments he, Charles, made to Stewart because his back was to the camera, but he’s used to these kinds of events in public life and he rarely makes a misstep.”
