Cody Johnson added another feather to his cap by winning the Entertainer of the Year trophy at the 2026 ACM Awards on Sunday.
The 38-year-old country singer dedicated his award to fellow nominee Luke Combs during his acceptance speech.
“There’s a guy who was up for this award who I’ve personally watched dedicate his life to country music,” Cody began.
He continued, “I was there that night in Australia when his wife gave birth to one of his sons. And I saw the pain, the defeat, on his face for not being there as he played music to sold-out arenas around the world.”
